 Model United Nations of Goldberg 10  


Our Model United Nations of Goldberg  Climate Change Conference (MUNOG_CCC) in October 2008 was such a great success that students and teachers at the Goldberg-Gymnasium agreed on a follow-up conference in 2009. Responding to climate change still being one of the biggest challenges in our days last year's conference put the focus on a wider range. In addition to climate change issues our students dealt with international politics and human rights as well.
The issues that our young diplomats will deal with this october are supplemented by the ECOSOC that deals with economics.

Simulating the United Nations helps to develop knowledge and understanding among young people and educational staff all over the world. Students shall become aware of the diversity of other cultures, languages and values and particularly of political problems in our modern world. It also helps young people acquire the basic life skills and competences necessary for their personal development, for active citizenship, solidarity and participative democracy.

We, the Secretariat of the Model United Nations of Goldberg, are pleased to invite new delegations of  schools to the third session of MUNOG_10 taking place
